For their health and well-being, cats need plenty of restful sleep. Therefore, these feline friends need their own cozy retreat.

As predators, it is important for cats to be undisturbed while they rest. At the same time, however, they must also keep an eye on everything.

For this reason, a cat should have several such places of different types available.

If your cat doesn't like being the center of attention, only seeks contact when it wants to, and likes to hide, we recommend a cat house or cat cave with a hood. Inside, the cat will feel safe and calm.

We recommend placing the first sleeping place where your cat already likes to rest. Simply put the new cat bed or cat house in your cat's favorite spot and give her time to get used to it. This may take a few days.

More tips:

1) The retreat should be quiet and away from noise and hectic activity, but still offer the possibility to keep an eye on all the animals.

2) Cats sleep a lot during the day. Therefore, enclosed hiding places – a cat house or a cat bed – are best for their sensitive eyes and for resting.

It is sensible and advisable to choose a sleeping place for a kitten as soon as it has grown up, as they grow quickly.

For adult cats up to 6 kg, beds and houses of size S (60 x 45 cm) are suitable; for cats over 6 kg, the larger size M (70 x 50 cm) can be chosen, for example.
